Aerobics classes, health clinics, health-oriented talks, a reality in the IV Edition of MAPFRE WEEK: HEALTH OBJECTIVE
Taking care of your diet, playing sports, knowing how to prevent certain diseases are some good practices that provide vitality and help us feel better every day. That is why MAPFRE, in its commitment to promoting health among its employees, celebrates the IV edition of MAPFRE Week: Health Objective.
From June 4 to 8, company employees in 31 countries will be the protagonists of this initiative that offers more than 800 activities and a global challenge that consists of walking a minimum of 10,000 steps for 10 days in a row.
Among the activities, the possibility of attending medical clinics for glucose, pressure and cholesterol, lung function, electromyography, and weight and body composition stands out.
Similarly, workshops will be held to learn how to prepare healthy breakfasts and lunches. To keep up-to-date on the different relaxation or stress management techniques, ergonomic health and how the use of technology affects health, and many other issues, the company will also offer informative talks on these and other aspects related to welfare.
In these five days, the entity especially promotes healthy lifestyles, support programs to promote well-being as well as campaigns on the prevention of the most frequent diseases. All of this, focusing on five areas: the work environment; The health promotion; physical activity and diet; the personal environment; and mental well-being.
